In the 1946 J-3C you are able to fly with the windows wide open.  Your right hand grips the control stick tighter as you bank to the left. Off to your left the waters of Kachemak Bay are settling down for the night. Across the Bay the snow capped mountains and Glaciers reflect the last rays of the sun.  Just to the north you can see the Box-Car Hills and the giant lakes that lay beyond.  Below your open windows the EDO floats let you know that almost every lake is your runway. Eagles, Hawks and Alaskan Aviators are the only ones who can see these sights.
