I live in Vestavia with my husband of 25 years, Alan Anthony, and two children. Grace will be attending Auburn University in the fall, and Jim will be an 8th grader at Pizitz Middle School. I am a retired teacher but volunteer weekly at a nonprofit community center in Avondale. Alan has worked for Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors for 30 years. We moved several times before returning to BHM to raise our children near grandparents. I enjoy gardening, traveling, and walking. I am still walk/running marathons. My parents live in our same house and Dad's serves on the City of Center Point's City Council. Even though much has changed, they work very hard to keep improving the city. We are in the phone book, call if in town. Hope to see all of you at reunion in August.
