Went to college at UAB and graduated in 1982 in Biology. I met my husband, Rodney Swillie while there & we married in 1984. While in medical school at UAB, I had my children, Nathan (1985) and Natalie (1987)and received MD degree in 1988. I completed my training in Internal Medicine at Carraway and stayed on staff from 1989-1997. I am currently working parttime at BMC Montclair & Shelby as a hospitalist. Rodney is a neurologist at BMC Montclair and it is great to get to work some together. We have lived most of our married life in Vestavia, but 3 yrs ago moved to Indian Springs where Nathan is a junior at Oak Mt High (who are the eagles!)& Natalie is a freshman at Briarwood High. We bought an old house which we have been remodeling ourselves as much as possible! Despite the work we enjoy the privacy and nature. I look forward to seeing former classmates and thanks to whoever started this!
