Normally the death of anyone that ever attended Erwin High School is simple to verify . The school still has information on file pertaining to anyone who has ever attended there, including the name of the student’s parents. If the parents names in the student’s file matches with that in the obituary, then it can be concluded as being the same person.

Twice today I called the office at Erwin, speaking with a different person each time, and neither wasn’t able to find anything on record indicating that a person named Kimberly Kirchner ever attended the school. This is strange, being that a Kimberly Kirchner does appear in the 75 & 78 yearbooks. I am guessing that the school must have an error in their records, but because of this I wasn't able to get information required in order to make a firm confirmation.

In reference to the siblings, there are photos of a Vicki Kirchner in the 75 & 76 yearbooks, and a Lori Kirchner in the 76 & 78 yearbooks. Nothing found on Pam Kirchner anywhere. Entering the name Kimberly Kirchner (not just Kim) into The Social Security Death Index brings up one match, saying that the person's ssn was Alabama issued. The date of death matches with the one in the above obituary, and it also indicates that the date of birth was January 31st 1960.
