3. Minutes: Corrections ? None

4.Treasurers Check-in: Alan has a summary done on 3-6-01 which covers the dance budget for the past year. The balance for dances is +$470.

5. Membership Check-in: For each quarter, we need to give the Corporation numbers of members for insurance purposes. Stan will talk to Isabelle, since our member numbers are constantly changing. Stan will forward a list of dance energizing activities from the CDSS.

6. Webmaster tells all: Gary is not able to be here, due to classes every Wednesday and Thursday night for the Spring 2001 semester. Marty will check with him to send a dance update to the membership regarding our change of caller for the dance on March 17.

7. Dance master Check-in: Jim has a report of the February Frolic Fund-raiser, see below.

8. Folk Dance Report: Marty says that there were 6 dancers at the Folk Dance on Feb 17. The next Folk Dance is March 17, from 6-7:30 P.M.

9.Special Events :

February Frolic Fund-raiser: Jim reports that a good time was has by all. Total paid attendance was 57, including 10 all-event tickets purchased. The Scottish workshop had 6 participants, English-10, Advanced Contras-14, Folk Dance-6, evening dance-40. Thanks to Lynn for filling in for Kari, who did finally make it. Silent Auction proceeds were $206. For comparison, attendances at past dances 12/16/00--73 paid attendance, 1/05/01--46, 1/20/01--57, and 2/02/01--40.

Sue will write thank you notes for the silent auction donations from College Pizzeria, Kindred Spirits Massage, Gulliver's Books, and Beaver Sports. It was a good idea, but not many attended. Maybe we could try it on campus.

Swing Dance: Sue will check with Kurt about music and sound system. Marty will see if Kolo North would like to extend a little into the time for the Swing Dance to introduce people to International Folk Dance.

10. Publicity Report: Barbara is not able to be here. She has volunteered to call the dance on March 17 so Scott Darter is free to take advantage of a trip to the Aleutians. With Bill, Betty , Lynn, Ken and Kari unavailable on March 17, the need for more callers is again felt. The dance will be contras plus some couple dances--- waltz, tango, hambo, schottische, and polka. Marty will ask Julie to help advertise the dance on campus.

11. Corporation Report: Lynn is not able to be here.

12. Student Rep Report: Suzy is not able to be here.

13. Newsletter Report: Todd (who apologizes for missing the meeting) will be collecting items for the newsletter which will come out the last week in March. He will put out a call for a new scheduler as well as the dance schedule for April and May (including annual meeting) and Dance Camp news.

14. Scheduler's Report: Kathy is not able to be here.

15. Anything else? KUAC-TV would like some phone answerers for their fund-raiser in March. Sue will get the schedule and let us know. She will see if a contra dance event at Jo Scott's Summer Arts Festival (in 2002) might be included to build interest in Contra Borealis Dances.
