4. Treasurer's Check-in: Alan is not able to be here.

5. Membership Check-in: Stan reports we have 101 members.

6. Webmaster tells all: Gary says that we have our own domain name for the webpage-- contraborealis.org.

7. Dance master Check-in: Jim has nothing new to report.

8. Folk Dance Report: Marty says that the next folk dance will be in the Fall.\

9. Special Events: Dance Camp 2002: Elaine says the fourth Hillbilly will be David Cahn. Hillbillies and Joseph Pimental will be arranging their own air travel. Mary Mitchell will do the food for Camp; her contract is for $3500, which includes 6 meals and supplies like toilet paper. Stan brought a sample of the brochure cover and will take some down to Dancing Bears Camp in Anchorage over Memorial day weekend. The sound system contract has 2 bidders, the winner will be announced at the next Dance Camp meeting on May 20 at 5:30 PM Geist Road Alaska Coffee Roasters.

10. Publicity Report: Barbara is not able to be here.

11. Corporation Report: Sue brought a copy of the Draft Lease and went over the proposed changes. Our rate will go up and we will have to buy the fuel oil to heat the Hall. (We will be able to take advantage of the borough's bulk rate for fuel oil.) We will have a 4-year lease. The Appreciation dance will be eliminated. Use of the Hall by non-dance groups is still under discussion. Repairs to the porch and adding a side entry roof still need to be done.

12. Student Rep Report: Britton is not able to be here.

13. Newsletter Report: Todd is not able to be here.

14. Scheduler's Report: Co-schedulers Susie and Scott have two summer dances scheduled Friday June 7 with Celtic Confusion and Lynn and Friday July 12 with Frostfire and Barbara calling.

15. Anything else? Gary says the Bob McQuillan video "Paid to Eat Ice Cream." is on the way. It is an inspirational video about a New England contra hero.
We are still looking for a person to buy sodas and bring to the Hall for sales during dances.
