Jaye Keener's Play of the Day

Do fathers really matter?

Numbers don't lie. Have a look:

  • 90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes
  • 71% of high school drop outs are from fatherless homes
  • Young children growing up without father's involvement are ten times more likely to be extremely poor
  • The majority of teen mothers come from homes without fathers
  • 85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home

There's a lot of buzz about how to reverse the cultural decay we're seeing around us. It starts in the home and it starts with fathers being there for their kids – physically and emotionally. Do your part to help make this happen. Encourage friends, co-workers and family to sign up for Jaye Keener's Play of the Day e-mail. Anchorage All Pro Dad's Day

Together we will make a difference.

Anchorage All Pro Dad

"We believe that every child needs a dad they can count on.

Children thrive when they have an involved father – someone who loves them,

knows them, guides them and helps them achieve their destiny."

Want to participate in fun father/child activities while strengthening your relationship? Come on out to an All Pro Dad event and meet some other dads and kids to play with.  We’ll watch some really cool videos and play some really fun, interactive games.  In the summer time we go camping and fishing, and in the winter time we’ll go skiing and snowboarding.  We meet at Ptarmigan Elementary School (888 Edward Street)  from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. on the Third Tuesday of the Month.  One lucky father & kid will win a great NFL prize!  See you there.
