Transform Alaska Project
Transform Alaska Project is designed to bring a message of hope and purpose to First Nations peoples. We will not accept the effects of life-controlling issues such as alcohol, abuse, or patterns of negative thinking that result in harmful behaviors. There IS an answer. And that answer is simply Jesus !
How This Started
George Hamm and I were visiting one day at his sawmill site in
Homer, Alaska. "Have you seen the Transformations II video ?"
George asked. I has just seen it for the first time two weeks
before.
"What do you think of it, George ?" I responded. "It's
powerful, " he continued. " I want to put it in every home of
a village so that it gets there all in the same day" he said.
The power of that idea instantly flashed across my mind.
"Which villages do you want to do this in?" I asked. George
named a number of villages along the Yukon-Kuskokwim River system.
"Why couldn't we do this in every
village?" I wondered out loud. "I suppose you could" George
responded.
Less than a year later we were sitting at lunch with Lisa Otis, the
dynamic wife of George Otis, Jr. of the
Sentinel Group She
listened to our idea and seemed to approve of it. As we left
the restaurant, she turned to me and said "Parker, if you do this in
your power and in your own time, you will get your results. If
you do it in God's power and in His time, you will get His results."

- Distributing the Transformation II videos to every home in a village in partnership with local pastors and native leadership.
- Members of our team are sharing life-changing teachings that put the foundational truths of scripture into cultural context that is understandable.
