Welcome to Lake O' the Hills Bed and Breakfast Resort, the ultimate Alaskan accommodation for the discriminating traveler or family. The 11,000 sq. ft. home is located on a mountain lake with beautiful views of the Chugach Mountains, a private lake, and over an acre of exquisite gardens and decks. Privacy, seclusion, and luxury are the only words to describe your experience at this truly Alaskan resort.

Lake O‚ The Hills resort features a full weight and exercise room with treadmill, stair-step machine, free weights, and universal machines. A huge indoor jacuzzi and steam room are adjacent to the exercise area. A bar with television, stereo, fireplace and billiard/ping pong table makes relaxation easy for guests.

Two large planted decks, two lakeside docks and an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens beacon our guests for sitting out with a glass of wine or strolling in the summer's permanent light.

The Solarium dining area comfortably sits 5 guests. Additional seating is available at the counter. Light, beautiful gardens, and indoor tropical plants/orchids create a lush ambiance for dining.

Breakfast is served in the solarium surrounded by orchids and other tropical plants. Either a continental breakfast with fresh fruit, muffins and cereal or a full American breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, hot cakes, strawberry crepes or eggs benedict can be requested. Fresh salmon lox, bagels and cream cheese is available most of the year. An effort will always be made to fulfill special dietary requests.

The spacious kitchen is finished in Honduran mahogany. The kitchen counter and table comfortably sits 10 persons. A formal dining room sitting 12 guests is available for larger groups.

The living room is large enough for 300 guests and has a concert grand piano, 16 foot floor to ceiling windows facing the lake and mountains, fireplace, and original oil paintings by Montesino, Suzanne Marie, and Gallo. A large planted deck with table, chairs and chaise loungers is accessible from the living room.

Backyard vistas of Flat Top Mountain, a private lake, and an acre of gardens. Two private docks, one with a planted gazebo and two additional seating areas within the garden areas insure seclusion and a quiet retreat.

Lake O‚ The Hills B&B Resort is less than a mile from the Alaska Zoo, horseback riding facilities, tennis courts and the O‚Malley golf course. Running trails circle the lake and first class hiking, biking and mountain climbing is less than 5 minutes away.

World class cross country skiing and downhill skiing is available at Kinkaid Park and Alyeska Resort which is less than 40 minutes from the resort. Class 5 white water rafting and kayaking is available at 6 mile river. Last but not least some of the best fishing and hunting sites in the world are located within driving or float plane access to Anchorage.

Rates: Master Suite: $1000/night, 4 night minimum; Japanese Suite $250/night; Antique Suite $200/night; Children's rooms (with parent taking a suite) $125/night. Rates from September 30-May 1 are 20% less.

Payment: First nights rental , non refundable (unless rebooked) at time of booking. Balance one week prior to arrival.

Restrictions: No pets or smoking within house. Smoking areas on decks only. Children are welcome but MUST be supervised.

Check-in Time: After 2PM Check-out: Before 12PM. Additional time will be granted if available until 1PM. Check-out after 1 PM will incur a 50% daily rate charge.
