Shin-Shin (cat)
Keowee (dog)
Keowee SittingKeowee is one of two-hunred New Guinea Singing Dogs ("Singers") born in captivity. He was named "Keowee", a Cherokee indian name, as he was born in a zoo in North Carolina. Wild population in New Guinea highlands is unknown and is feared to be extinct. We adopted him through New Guinea Singing Dog Convservation Society.

Keowee is a "tamed" wild dog who has learned to live happily in the "outside" world through many dog training classes and plenty of socilization. He was featured in the Vancouver Courier Newspaper. Keowee's Testimonial tells you how he learned to play with "domestic" dogs at the Fairbanks Dog Park. He loves dog agility.

Listen to Singers' singing and a story about them (Require Quicktime Player).
